The Traditional English breakfast is a so called "fry-up" including:
  • Bacon
  • Sausages
  • Egg
    And then anything from
  • Black Pudding
  • Hash Brown
  • Beans
  • Mushrooms
  • Tomato's
A traditional English Sunday lunch is a "Roast Dinner." This often consists of a meat either Lamb, Beef, Chicken or Pork. Different things are often served with the meal depending on the meat. Most roast dinners also contain boiled vegetables and roast potatoes.
  • Beef - Yorkshire Puddings and horseradish sauce.
  • Lamb - Mint Sauce
  • Pork - Apple Sauce
  • Chicken - Bread Sauce
The most obvious traditional English Dinner is Fish and chips. This is often bought from outlets known as "Chip shops."

The traditional fish is cod caught in the north sea and then battered in the shop. The chips are chunky chips often served with salt and vinegar and sometimes Mushy Peas.

A true English meal.
Dessert is a triffle. This is made from custard, fruit, sponge cake, whipped cream and fruit juice or jelly. These are normally arranged into 3 layers here they are from bottom to top.
  1. The fruit with the juice (or jelly) and the sponge.

  3. Topped with whipped cream and fruit
Tea is the typical English drink. Originally from china the English people are the 2nd largest consumers of tea per capita. Tea is often drunk as a social drink and can work as well in casual chats as formal dinners. Made using a tea bag with boiling hot water mixed with milk and sugar. Also known as:
