The North of England consists of many big city's and is the largest land area in England. Dominated by
Yorkshire and Lancaster the north of England in the last century was seen as the mining area with the majority of the countries coal
mines located there. The north of England is known for its beautiful lanscapes and is dominated by the Pennines mounting range. This range is often refered
to as the backbone of Britain. The biggest cities in the north are Manchester and Newcastle.
